Trash the Dress with Naomi

Bob and Naomi had their wedding in Sydney just over a year ago, and sadly it was very very wet the whole weekend so we did not get many photos in.  They enjoy urban exploration so we decided to do their Trash the Dress in the tunnels of the Hobart Rivulet.

After this we headed down to Tranmere for a little swim. The water was very very cold, Naomi did very well given the conditions…!

Tasman Bridge

What better thing to do at midnight on a Saturday night than to jump in the car with some friends and take photos?

We got to the summit of Mt Wellington, admired the view and then concluded it was far too cold for our 30 something bones, so we were soon back in the car looking for a warmer location. We ended up at the eastern shore end of the Tasman Bridge.

Long hand held exposures, lots of lights and zoom lenses are good fun.

Portrait Of The Week #1

Sunday and Monday was spent at a professional photographers seminar run by the AIPP. One of the speakers, Alan Moyle of Photobat in Launceston told us about his portrait of the week project he did a while back and I thought it sounded like a great idea. So I will kick things off with a shot of fellow photographer Thomas Moore, taken during speaker Shelton Muller’s off camera lighting workshop.
