I still can’t believe they want to knock down 10 Murray St, Hobart. There are better things for the government to be spending money on than knocking down a perfectly fine building, just to build another one. Like doctors, nurses, teachers, and fixing the roads.

I spent a few hours walking around Hobart City today with my friend Thomas Ryan from Launceston who is somewhat the architecture nerd and has a great blog on Art Deco and Modernism architecture in Tasmania which is really worth subscribing to if you are interested in this sort of thing.
We spent some time looking around Domain House and its surrounding buildings, as well as the brand new Menzies Centre building and the Royal Hobart Hospital.
