I love Dr Pepper. I was so disappointed when they took it off the market in Australia. A lot of people hate it, and I guess I can see why. Like Guinness and oysters, its a bit of an acquired taste. Oh, and it has to be uber cold when you drink it, or else it really does taste like cough medicine.

Twelve Apostles and Great Ocean Road
Late 2008 I attended an AIPP conference in Warnambool, Victoria. One of the activities was a trip down the Great Ocean Road to visit some of the spectacular coastal features, like the Twelve Apostles. I was fortunate enough to be lent Canons flagship dSLR, the EOS 1Ds MkIII. Typically the sunset that evening was very ordinary. It was far better the next day, but anyhow here are some of the images from the trip.

There Is A Body In There
It is nice to get out with the camera just to play, and even better when you have a photographer friend from interstate visiting. Andrew Skegg and I stopped by an abandoned mental hospital in New Norfolk. Local legend has it that the place is haunted, however since Andrew and I are both skeptics, we didn’t let the stories stop us. Sadly the place has been vandalised, with graffiti tags everywhere, and hardly a pane of glass unbroken.
Gordon Ramsay could not imagine such a nightmare of a kitchen…
