I love Dr Pepper.  I was so disappointed when they took it off the market in Australia.  A lot of people hate it, and I guess I can see why.  Like Guinness and oysters, its a bit of an acquired taste.  Oh, and it has to be uber cold when you drink it, or else it really does taste like cough medicine.

Anyhow, there are still a few places around who sell it, but they are few and far between.  These places are selling imported product, canned in the good old USA.  Strangely the American soft drink cans are smaller (355ml) than the standard 375ml Aussie can, which is unusual considering the American “Super size” culture.  Maybe the 355ml can is a small one, and there’s a larger can size available over there.  Who knows.

Oh the other thing that is annoying about these imports is the cost, these cans are $2.75 each from Sweets on Murray in Hobart, but as a treat, its worth it.  Yum!
