Well the 2009 Worldwide Photo Walk is underway and the Hobart one has just wrapped up! Quite a decent turn out, about 20 of us took a walk from Molle St up the Hobart Rivulet Linear Park as far as Cascade Brewery, then back down Macquarie St, only to be distracted by Siceys Cascade Hotel, where I am currently sitting awaiting a Super Schnitzel Parma… yum!

Wrest Point is abuzz with activity with competitors, officials and teams preparing for the inaugural Targa Wrest Point which kicks off tomorrow.  I will be  running around the countryside all weekend photographing the cars for the competitors, which is going to be great fun.  Had to go to Wrest Point today to fill in the paperwork and collect my ID, and on the way home was driving alongside an R32 Skyline GTR that was in the event.  The car had Western Australia plates on it and looked fantastic.  Cant wait to see it in a bit more action than this leisurely cruise down Hobarts Macquarie Street in heavy traffic!
