Today I touched down in Sydney ready for tomorrows wedding shoot. Bob and Naomi are getting married at Georges Head Battery, an old fortification with tunnels and chambers and gunning circles. It was part of the cities early defencr system, nuch like the facilities up the Derwent River in Hobart. Very cool!

Saturday we are planning a Trash the Dress which given some of the locations around here should be sensational.

Really looking forward to this wedding, look out for photos on the blog soon!

I spent yesterday afternoon on an Engagement Shoot with Michael and Kathleen.  Michael recently popped the big question and now they are in the process of organising anengagement party and of course the big wedding.  Blustery conditions saw us spend most of the time around the Hobart CBD, which features some great old sandstone walls and all sorts of nooks and crannies, and of course plenty of graffiti, which all make for some great photos. More to come soon.

Whether you want to take a close look at the details and intricacy of the old buildings that make up the area, or the people that make use of the space, it’s a great place to photograph.
