Hobart has some glorious old architecture, and one of my favorite buildings in the city is the ANZ Centre. It once housed both the ABC and professional wrestler François Fouché’s “Stage Door Canteen”, an un-licenced dine-and-dance cabaret. His story is very interesting.

Now it houses mostly government agencies and offices, and has a large modern tower sprouting from the back of it.
