The simple things can often make a great image. Even better when the photo is relatively unplanned, and you just happen to stumble across it. This was just a pile of leaves fallen from the tree overhanging a carpark. I love the colors of the leaves, those rich warm yellow, red and brown tones. Certainly warmer than the Tasmanian weather at this time of year anyhow….

I was asked to take some photos of Sea FM Hobart’s Kim and Dave, the hosts of the breakfast show on that radio station. This shot was blown up and put on the side of the Sea FM Cruiser, and also is used on the radio stations website.

Waves crash in around a small rock on Taroona Beach. The long shutter speed makes the waves form white swirly patterns.
